This report is effective 7:00 AM, Friday, January 17th. Today’s report honors Bob Uecker who died yesterday at age 90. So remember whenever you’re at Song or Labrador, just think “I MUST BE IN THE FRONT ROW”!
It keeps snowing, we keep making snow; IT’S REALLY PILING UP! I’m running out of words that describe how good the skiing and riding are, BUT suffice it to say, THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST CONDITIONS IN YEARS!
It’s currently 25 degrees with light snow. The forecast for Friday; mostly cloudy with a few snow showers around this morning, high near 30 degrees, chance of snow 60%. JUST A ANOTHER PERFECT CNY WINTER DAY!
Song Mountain will be open Friday, January 17th from 10 am to 9 pm with 2 lifts serving 15+ trails, and counting. Chopsticks, Dipsey, and Jupiter are OPEN. We are skiing and riding on a 32 to 60” base with a powder and machine groomed, packed powder surface. All Friday Club programs continue today. Heuga’s Alpine will be open for your dining pleasure from 11 am to 9 pm with Jess Novak & Ben Wayne LIVE from 6 to 9.
There can be no argument; Old Man Winter is still a force to be reckoned with!! Today is DAY THIRTY-TWO AND THERE’S A LOT MORE TO LOOK FORWARD TO. Round up the posse, pack up the SUV, Song and Labrador are the ONLY PLACES TO BE!
