This report is effective 7:00 AM, Saturday, January 18th. Today’s report honors Bob Uecker who died Thursday at age 90. So remember whenever you’re at Song or Labrador, just think “I MUST BE IN THE FRONT ROW”!
It keeps snowing, we keep making snow; IT’S REALLY PILING UP! I’m running out of words that describe how good the skiing and riding are, BUT suffice it to say, THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST CONDITIONS IN YEARS! There has been some discussion of the dirty little ‘R’ word for today BUT, remember at our elevation we expect ALL SNOW!
It’s currently 30 degrees with partly cloudy skies. The forecast for Saturday; clouding up with snow, high in the low 30’s, chance of snow 90%, 1-2” of new snow expected. JUST A ANOTHER IN A STRING OF PERFECT CNY WINTER DAYS!
Song Mountain will be open Saturday, January 18th from 9 am to 4:30 pm with up to 4 lifts serving 16+ trails. The Diamond Cutter Chair and the Double Chair are OPEN. We are skiing and riding on a 32 to 60” base with a powder and machine groomed, packed powder surface. Heuga’s Alpine will be open for your dining pleasure from 11 am to 9 pm.
There can be no argument; Old Man Winter is still a force to be reckoned with!! Today is DAY THIRTY-THREE AND THERE’S A LOT MORE TO LOOK FORWARD TO. Round up the posse, pack up the SUV, Song and Labrador are the ONLY PLACES TO BE!
