Labrador Mountain Conditions Report

For Song conditions, click button above.

This report is effective 6:00 am Thursday, February 11th.

Our weather pattern is rapidly turning in the right direction.  January delivered lake effect that just wouldn’t quit and around the clock snow making piled up an insane amount of man made snow… We’re now in February… Back to lake effect and 24/7 snow making. Lots of winter left…  COME ON DOWN!

Labrador Mountain will be open Thursday, February 11th from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm with 3 lifts serving 11 trails. Cutthroat is open, the Badger Lift and Razorback are open, Ptarmigan reopens later today. We are skiing and riding on a 11 to 40″ base with a powder and machine groomed pascked powder surface. 5″ of new snow last 24 hours… More on its way… The skiing and riding are simply outstanding!

It’s currently 11 degrees and snowing lightly.  The forecast for Thursday is for meandering bands of lake effect snow, 4-8″ of new snow with higher amounts expected in the more persistent bands, highs in the high teens. Chance of snow 100%… “Persistent snow bands”… Oh yeah, that’s where we are. For all you winter haters, IT’S PAYBACK TIME :)

And the current pattern continues right into the weekend.  Significant new snow, measured in feet, and excellent snow making temperatures (we started back up this morning) are forecast for the forseeable future… Good is only going to get better!

As always, our state-of-the-art snow making system remains primed (the crew as well) and 24/7 snow making (resumed this morning) will continue as long as conditions permit. So in short… Perfect snow, perfect grooming, perfect temps, perfect Thursday, just the perfect place…

As usual, PLEASE, CHECK BACK OFTEN FOR UPDATES.

Oh yeah… It can’t hurt… KEEP PRAYING FOR SNOW!
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU from everyone here at both Song and Labrador. We really do appreciate your continued patronage.
