Labrador Mountain Conditions Report

For Song conditions, click button above.

This report is effective 6:00 am Wednesday, February 10th.

Our weather pattern is rapidly turning in the right direction.  January delivered lake effect that just wouldn’t quit and around the clock snow making piled up an insane amount of man made snow… We’re now in February… Back to lake effect and 24/7 snow making. Lots of winter left…  COME ON DOWN!

Labrador Mountain will be open Wednesday, February 10th from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm with 3 lifts serving 11 trails. Cutthroat is open, the Badger Lift and Razorback are open, Ptarmigan reopens sometime this week. We are skiing and riding on a 11 to 40″ base with a powder and machine groomed pascked powder surface. 3″ of new snow so far… The skiing and riding will be simply outstanding!

It’s currently 28 degrees and snowing lightly.  The forecast for Wednesday is for nnow showers early, becoming steadier snow for the afternoon, highs near 30 degrees. Chance of snow 100% accumulating 1 to 3 inches with heavier amounts in persistent snowbands… “Persistent snow bands”… Oh yeah, that’s where we are. For all you winter haters, IT’S PAYBACK TIME :)

And the current pattern continues right into the weekend.  Significant new snow, measured in feet, and excellent snow making temperatures (we start back up tonight) are forecast for the forseeable future… Good is only going to get better!

As always, our state-of-the-art snow making system remains primed (the crew as well) and 24/7 snow making resumes tonight and will continue as long as conditions permit. So in short… Perfect snow, perfect grooming, perfect temps, perfect Wednesday, just the perfect place…

As usual, PLEASE, CHECK BACK OFTEN FOR UPDATES.

Oh yeah… It can’t hurt… KEEP PRAYING FOR SNOW!
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU from everyone here at both Song and Labrador. We really do appreciate your continued patronage.
