Labrador Mountain Conditions Report

For Song conditions, click button above.

This report is effective 6:00 am Tuesday, February 9th.

Our weather pattern is rapidly turning in the right direction.  January delivered lake effect that just wouldn’t quit and around the clock snow making piling up an insane amount of man made snow… We’re now in February, to be determined. Lots of winter left…  COME ON DOWN!

Labrador Mountain will be open Tuesday, February 9th from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm with 3 lifts serving 11 trails. Cutthroat is open, the Badger Lift and Razorback are open, Ptarmigan reopens sometime this week. We are skiing and riding on a 11 to 40″ base with a machine groomed, loose granular, maybe a bit of powder, surface. Hard to believe I KNOW, but the skiing and riding are surprisingly good!

It’s currently 26 degrees and snowing lightly.  The forecast for Tuesday is for snow showers throughout the day, highs in the low 30’s, total accumulations 2-3 inches. For all you winter haters :( IT’S PAYBACK TIME!

And things are looking up right into the weekend.  Significant new snow (maybe measured in feet) and excellent snow making temperatures (we start back up Wednesday night) are forecast for the forseeable future… Stay tuned.

As always, our state-of-the-art snow making system remains primed (the crew as well) and around the clock snow making will resume what’s looking like Wednesday night. But as of this moment, perfect snow, perfect grooming, perfect temps, perfect Tuesday, just the perfect place…

As usual, PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN FOR UPDATES.

Oh yeah… It can’t hurt… KEEP PRAYING FOR SNOW!

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU from everyone here at both Song and Labrador. We really do appreciate your continued patronage.
